With the serial number "NB0074", Swampy is indeed a Euro4.

Spector started the serials over with the Euro4 and Euro5 basses (2001) with an "NB" in front.
No NSCR bass has such a serial number.

I concur. I'm actually surprised that Stuart let these wings go to the Czech shop at all. From what I understand, they source their wood from the US for their builds. Not that I'm complaining. Believe me. From my cold dead hands, they will have to pry swampy.

Dave had his pink and black NS-2 repainted in a tobacco burst finish. I may be wrong, but Pat Wilkins may have done that one.
I loved that pink and black…it killed me to see it disappear. Also, I am NOT a fan of brown basses, but the TB finish on that bass was amazing. Pat Wilkins does amazing work.

I'm looking for a better headphone solution, but what I've got works.. Maybe I need to look at the headphones first.

That tobacco burst is awesome. I love seeing all the stained/glossed quilts. Feels like zooming along a mountain range.

First of all, the Cafe Walter HA-1A headphone amp has the clearest, most pure sound I have ever heard. It's amazing.
Walter recommended either a $200 set of Audio Technica headphones, or a $50 set of Koss open-ear headphones for their clarity of sound production. I went the cheap route, and I'm glad I did. The Koss headphones sound excellent! I got a set of expensive Sennheiser headphones for Xmas, and they don't sound nearly as good as the cheapies. Walter knows his stuff!
