It's fun to see all the little practice rooms. How something so small and simple looking can be so dynamic and satisfying for us!

Now that's PIMP! Yours and Mike's rooms take the cake in my opinion. AND you have that MicroMark....damn it, I've wanted one for a while now

Nice! I know when the time is right for me to get my green Euro 5 refinished it'll be sent to Pat, as everyone recommends him and I've seen nothing but great work come from that shop.

Here is the practice room I have at home, I need a 7 spot rack so I can pull more basses out of there case.

Damn that's nice too.....I now feel so crammed!

First of all, the Cafe Walter HA-1A headphone amp has the clearest, most pure sound I have ever heard. It's amazing.
Walter recommended either a $200 set of Audio Technica headphones, or a $50 set of Koss open-ear headphones for their clarity of sound production. I went the cheap route, and I'm glad I did. The Koss headphones sound excellent! I got a set of expensive Sennheiser headphones for Xmas, and they don't sound nearly as good as the cheapies. Walter knows his stuff!

In need of a new pair for silent rehearsals . What is the model of koss headphones ?

They're only $37 now. Bargain!
They don't look like much, but they sound great, they fold up, and they have a decent expanding headband for comfortable fit. They are open-sided, but I have never had a problem with outside noise interfering. Also, no head sweating!

Oh yeah. You can get about any model of Spector in fretless.

Lined fretless is an option, but it doesn't appear available in unlined fretless:

Yes there is a Legend 5 fretless... avg 750.00 new

You can get a used one less or a used Euro 5 Fretless for about the same money. The Euro is the tier between the Korean made Legend and the USA NS-5. I'm sure your son already knows this if he is really looking for a Spector.

That would be cool, I found the frames at a hobby store and couldn't pass them up and I think they had them marked down for half off...did you see the little Magnatone amp under the window? It still works!!!

Here is my practice space when the kids are in bed. An Avalon U5 with Sony studio headphones. The SE-5 sounds killer through the Avalon!
