The SE-5 was the 5th special edition series bass of just 30 basses. And not a 5 string! See the link below.

The Zoom B3 is amazing. For the price, it may be the best $199 you can ever spend. I use it all the time playing through headphones and use it as a Preamp for recording through my Mbox to ProTools.

I primarily just use the Amp simulation Patches and also use the Avalon U5 patch.

It can also be used as a USB interface and will work directly with Cubase, which it comes with a stripped down version.
It also works directly as a USB interface with Presonus Studio One. (You can download a free basic version of Studio One from their site if you are looking to get into recording.)

And best of all you can customize patches.

Here is a Patch I created copying the Eddie Jackson Tone.
I EQ'd the original bass down. So the growl you hear is from the NS-2 through the Zoom B3.

Can you make an amp emulator for Trace Elliot? I didn't see it in the list.

Cool space. I see an Ibanez Explorer bass and guitar. :edit: Jackson Explorer looking bass- I need a bigger iPhone screen. :/edit:
The first bass I built in high school wood shop was an Explorer. I made a template from one we had at the music store I worked in. I made it from 2 planks of mahogany laminated together to get the width I needed for the upper rear and lower horn.
Someone out there is rocking an Explorer with a Hondo Roadstar Pbass neck and electronics in natural finish.

Nice! I had mine shipped to work so it wouldn't sit out on the porch all day. Earl, our UPS guy typically comes thru around 10-11 in the am...it's 10:17 CST! LOL! :hiding:

I thought about pulling a 'Sam' and driving around looking for him! :D

The amp simulators are pre-set; the stomp box allows you to run three effects simultaneously (or an amp simulator plus 1-2 effects, depending on the power drain).
The pre-loaded amp simulators were "favorites", and very specific amps, like Marshall Super Bass, Ampeg SVT, Aguilar DB750, etc.
It is entirely possible that you can replicate a Trace amp by selecting another amp simulator with additional effects, or just a combo of 3 effects (compression being at least two - LOL). It would be great for going directly into FOH.
