I have used the B3 for headphone practice too... it is great. You can plug headphones into the L/Mono jack with a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter.

Man... Looking in the classifieds, these things sell faster than Darkglass stuff. :(

I have a B2 but I really like the interface better on the B3. Plus the DI out.

Btw, I asked the seller about the artist/tour and he said that it was taken on the 20th Anniversary Throwing Copper tour. Not sure if that's with the original lineup and the new singer or with Ed Kowalczyk as a solo.

Can you make an amp emulator for Trace Elliot? I didn't see it in the list.

I was looking in my B2 manual and it does have a Trace Elliot amp emulator so I'm surprised the B3 doesn't.

Does anyone know if you can run an mp3 player into the control in on the B3 ?

My B2 has the control input and it's just for foot pedals, not audio input.

I run my Zoom B2 and my Tascam GT-R1 into an old Mackie 1202 mixer with an excellent headphone output into my Sony MDR-7506 cans.

Nice! I had mine shipped to work so it wouldn't sit out on the porch all day. Earl, our UPS guy typically comes thru around 10-11 in the am...it's 10:17 CST! LOL! :hiding:

I thought about pulling a 'Sam' and driving around looking for him! :D

Watch the driver stop for lunch just to mess with you! lol

I'm excited for you and want to see some pictures as soon as you get that baby out of its case!

Thanks! UPS still hasn't shown up...He must have driven the route in reverse today :( I'll get some crappy cell pics up when it gets here, but plan on getting some GOOD pics this weekend!

...your blue Coda P is no joke!! That thing is STUNNING!!!

Excited for you Brad. That Buckeye bolt on with a single MM pup... the visual will be massive buckeye overload. :bassist:

Thanks! That's the one! One reason I wanted the single MM with the Buckeye was to show as much of the wood as possible! :hyper: ...that and I really dig the MM sound!

Wow that went for almost $1,700!!!

:hyper: OMG!!!!!! :hyper: This thing is BEAUTIFUL!!!

...pics coming shortly!!!!

CAN'T WAIT!!! :hyper:

The Zoom B3 is amazing. For the price, it may be the best $199 you can ever spend. I use it all the time playing through headphones and use it as a Preamp for recording through my Mbox to ProTools.

I primarily just use the Amp simulation Patches and also use the Avalon U5 patch.

It can also be used as a USB interface and will work directly with Cubase, which it comes with a stripped down version.
It also works directly as a USB interface with Presonus Studio One. (You can download a free basic version of Studio One from their site if you are looking to get into recording.)

And best of all you can customize patches.

Here is a Patch I created copying the Eddie Jackson Tone.
I EQ'd the original bass down. So the growl you hear is from the NS-2 through the Zoom B3.

I also have various Amp Simulation comparison sound clips if anyone is interested let me know and I will post them.

Holy cow. You nailed it. THAT TONE!!!

What are your settings on the B3? I need to try that!
