SPECTOR® Owners Club

If anyone is interested I have an SWR Headlite in the classifieds for sale. It's in nearly new condition with the original bag and manuals. They're great heads but I need to liquidate some gear.

For Sale - SWR Headlite With SWR Gig Bag PRICE DROP NOW 5

Great amps.
I bought mine for use with my Taurus pedals & as a backup, but it has become my main amp.
The headlite & a pair of 1x12 cabs allows for super-easy load in/outs, while still providing healthy punch & bottom end.

RACK 'O FIVERS! :smug:

Just placed an order on reverb for my first 5-stringer and it's a modified legend classic 5 that I got a really good deal on. It'll be my second bass and I'm moving up from a squier affinity pj, so can't wait till it gets here!

Congrats. Send us some pics when it arrives and let us know how you like it. Once you've sent a pic, you can request a club number from @Tracebassplayer via PM if you'd like one. If so, just note the thread page number that your request (and pic) is on.

Great collection, what are you enjoying the most out of each of these basses Jeff?
:) In one word? Variety.

The Euro5 has a great active tone for pick playing.

The NS-5XL in the middle has a great passive fingerstyle tone.

And the one on the right is soon off to Nordstrand to have a P2 size Big Rig pickup installed. I was going to put a 9v HAZ in but decided to leave the Tone Capsule in it and save the HAZ for another project. I'm trying to make this bass a good "all around" bass for finger and pick playing. Dial the blend towards the bridge pickup for fingerstyle, and dial the blend towards the neck pickup for a fuller pick tone. Wish me luck!

Be sure to give a report on those Big Rigs. I've been working up a package to replace my Super Doubles with Big Rigs. Nordstrand is going to add a series/ parallel switch for each one too. I hope you like the change.

Congratulations on your first Spector bass! You'll be blown away with the difference of the Squier Affinity and Legend 5. :)

That sounds like an interesting project that you have planned. I'm anxiously waiting to here your report when you get it back from Nordstrand.

So, I just picked up a Euro XL4 in the classified and I am looking to put a drop tuner on it. I picked up a Hipshot BT 7, however it looks like the post diameter on my euro is 3/8. I found that the HB6 is the correct diameter size, however i can't find an HB6 extender other than on a warwick site....

So, my question is for you euro lx4 owners with 3/8 shaft tuners, what do you use for an xtender?

Thanks in advance!

Does your Euro have Schaller or Gotoh tuners? There is a drop tuner replacement for each.
