just got my BQC installed in the euro 5 yesterday. for those using this pre, what dip switch setting do you all prefer and why? I really like the treble response of the HAZ, But being a 3 band by a different company, that might not be possible on this one.

I run mine, on//on, because it has more effect in the 1K area for boosting or cutting.

IIRC I’m using OFF/ON (1/2) and also set the mid-frequency to 1kHz (all the way up). Then boost bass and treble to 100% and boosting mids a little.
No, not exactly, but imho I think the BQC and BTS are excellent preamps - price and soundwise. Here‘s how it sounds in my Euro 4LX.
