I remember a few weeks ago there was a discussion about a "replacement nut" and a guy who made them. :o
Oh no here come the jokes :hiding: Anyway I need to replace the "nut" on my NS-2A, what do you recommend? :D

Hey Lima...it was I. AJ Yenser is a Luthier that made a few brass string nuts for me. I like brass because then your strings touch metal all the way and helps with even more tone sustain. I'll Pm you with his email address if you're interested? He uses all different materials. Whatever is your liking. He donates 100% of the profits to charity also.

Daaaaaaaammmiiiiit. I tried to delete it before I stole your thunder...
I thought better of posting the address as I hit submit and tried to delete it before anyone saw it...:o
That's okay Trace. Glad there's more to pass the word around! There's no thunder here. Just kids getting a chance to start their dream of music. :bassist: thank you for passing it along!

Wait::: there will be plenty of Thunder when your Ian Hill arrives. :bassist: :D

Transit time is only 2 days from NJ to MI. :D

That's really awesome! I figured Thur-Fri. Back when I had a business I ordered mostly from east coast. STILL is too long! :ninja:
How's your new bass Lima?

Coming Thursday...3 days from Orlando to NYC.
Probably in the Carolinas now.

Speaking of NS-2JAR
Did you see someone sold a "mint" black NS-2JAR in the TB classified section today for only $650. It sold in 2 hours.

Here's what it looks like beneath the fretboard of at least one version of an older Euro CRFM 5:

Hey, anyone looking for a nice unloaded Spector Euro 5 CRFM as a project bass? Maybe make it a fretless, cut off the neck and route a bolt on neck cavity? The body is a beautiful flame cherry burst.
It's just a flesh wound..... :D

I wanna try fixin it...
givitomeee givittomeee :hyper::hyper:

:hyper: Lima, you know how to rev a Spector guy up! Lol
Yes, I looked at that NS-2JAR and thought about it just before pulling the trigger on the Ian Hill, but I noticed tarnish on the gold plating already. Plus, I've been dreaming of an Ian Hill too long. And it's time to start crossing off my dream list too. Wow! That sold really fast! It was purty.

After just buying a NS-2JAR the day before for not nearly that cheap. I was banging my head against the wall for a few minutes after i saw it.

The Ian Hill will be your first with the Inlays, correct?
