I don't have this problem with anything else.
I would think it should work with IE (9), the most wisely used browser. One link is not important enough for me to change my browser. Maybe my McAfee is blocking it for some reason, but I doubt it. I either get the "Internet Explorer can't connect....click to fix page (If I click to fix it tells me my internet connection is fine, which I can already see on my router display), or it just sits like it's loading forever.
Even tried entering the site in the address bar verbatim/copy & paste (not using the abreviated hyperlink). Still didn't work.
I tried it on my work laptop that has IE and McAfee and the link worked no problem. Firefox worked as well but when I tried it on my Macbook with Firefox, it told me to restart in 32-bit mode so once i did that, it worked.
Maybe check your file associations and see if some other program was set to play .wmv files?

Out of curiosity I tried a couple fixes.
Still doesn't work.
Time for the old right-click, save link as then. Since this one link doesn't seem to work, that should let you save it to your pc and then play it.
I have both IE9 in 32 and 64bit on my system.
I run 32 99.9999% of the time as certain programs (like Flash Player, etc.) won't run in 64. Haven't tried the link with the 64 though.
EDIT: Nope. Same thing with the 64bit.

Thanks phat! They're my best! Lol FYI...I'll give credit to Sam for editing this video the best that he could...can't do much with a 8 year old Kodak 5 Megapixel camera. Lol Thanks again Sam! He added the credits at the end also.
I too have a Tonepump with no trim. I have a love/hate relantionship with it. Mostly love. I play a lot of dub/reggae and the bass boost is rotund. Like an elephant walking through the jungle.
The hate only comes in when it distorts the inputs on some pedals that I like to use occasionally. Should be a straight swap.

The trim is simply a signal level output. It would not reduce (i.e. "Too much bass/treble") or change the EQ curve from a non-trim Tone Pump with the bass/treble knobs at the same relative positions. It only effects the overall output level.
And Yes, it should directly swap. The trim pot is strictly an internal change.

My dog Olivia sits and listens when I play and when I'm done she comes running up to me with tail wagging, teeth smiling and standing on her hind legs. Lol I call her my favorite "Groupie". Yes, I had the old style TonePump (with no trim pot) replaced with a new TonePump that has the trim pot.
Very happy with the results.

Also, question for all you Spector history whizzes: I saw a listing on CL for a "1983 NS-2 CRFM" the other day. Did Spector make basses in Europe that early, or is it one of the 83 reissues? Or maybe just incorrectly marked? I'm on the mobile app right now, but I'll post a link when I get home.
