I meant to say that one was a Euro 5. It was such a hack job, I tried to block it out of my memory
Sorry, just re-read your question again. I could have sworn it was a Euro 5 but I could be wrong. I believe it had the TW pickups but I usually associate those with the Euro 5's but it could have been a 4. Now I don't remember and I can't see it on Ebay anymore....that is probably a good thing

This year the Spector Performers are being made in Indonisia. Years prior they were made in China.
I havent played either so I dont know if there is much of a playability or sound difference.
The Indonisia models say Spector Performer on the Trussrod cover. The China Models say Spector.
yeah, the one I played said performer on it. It felt fine to me. I'm not that picky of a player either. If I find a Chinese one or an Indonesian one it's not a huge matter to me.

+1. I've played $1000 basses that don't have the same playing mojo as my $400 Legend.
Naturals, Black Cherry, and Ambers are pretty common. Everything else is increasingly rare up to the green stain, which is like spotting a unicorn running down your road these days....
Since we're talking about finishes, I have noticed maybe a half dozen white Euro 4's or 5's come up used in several places. About half of these seem to have significantly more yellowing of the finish between the end of the fretboard and the front pickup. Is this common with this finish? One of my favorite things about a white finish is what they look like after about 20 years, but only if it is a consistent aging across the entire body.

Maybe it's me but I've seen a few green NSCR and Euro 5s available on the used market but the 4 however is far more elusive to me. I've seen only two - one here on TB and one on the Tebusaki Boys site. Not that I don't appreciate the Euro 4 in the pic, lol, but I'd feel awfully special if a green (or even a piano black - equally rare) 4 came into my possession.Correction: neglected to consider the Ian Hill :|
