I have a feeling down the road that I'll regret the day that I sold my Ian Hill sig,(I was given an offer I couldn't refuse and extremely high G.A.S. level) but...It's going to a fellow SPECTOR player and I'll be ordering a Forte 4 tomorrow!
My first USA SPECTOR BASS!!!
FYI...I still have an awesome price on a excellent Performer W/padded gig bag for sale. $250.00

musiciansfriend.com and music123.com and now several others are touting a SPECTOR "ROX" bass, ,now. If you type Spector ROX into your search bar you will have several sites listing a ROX bass.![]()

Thank you seventhframe! LimaGuy was trying to break my focus with a NS-4 Holoflash on GCWelcome to the Forte club!![]()
thanks Sam I do appreciate the find of a NS-4 at a good price, but Holoflash isn't my thing...I like the simplicity of the black stain and LOVE the sound of the Forte's! Listened to several of the SPECTOR endorsed artist that play the Forte, this morning.
Nice tunes bobunit!I typically don't listen to the local radio stations, but my girlfriend had the Rock/Metal station on. Apparently, Sunday evenings they have local music and the DJ announces "Up next, blah, blah, my old band, blah, blah"...
Huh?! This band hasn't been active for a long time! How did they get a copy of the album and I wonder how it's going to sound... Even with the radio compression, my Spector cut though just fine. Pretty cool.![]()

This can't be an NS-2 correct?
Where is the serial? I can't see it on any of the pictures.
It was kind of thought at first that it wasn't an US (JPS), but an altered Czech of some kind. Trace said he knew of a guy that was making real closely accurate copies and was pretty sure this was one of them.So what was the consensus with this umm... What is it?![]()
Well, it does look like a US preamp. However, I do find it very irresponsible for this store to sell this bass as being original when clearly it is not.It was kind of thought at first that it wasn't an US (JPS), but an altered Czech of some kind. Trace said he knew of a guy that was making real closely accurate copies and was pretty sure this was one of them.
I'm assuming they're getting their date (since no serial) from the date you can see on the underside of the pre. These pics are more thorough and detailed than before.
