Personally, I wouldn't use the M4 tuners. The 12:1 ration kinda sucks. Also, the M4 tuners have a bushing size which is smaller than the gotoh or gotoh cheapies.

Man, if I didn't know better I'd think that guy used my 6 for that video.
Anybody besides me get irked when a drummer with a single kick sets it cockeyed (like he's got a double but forgot the other kick...or just a bad sense of direction) like that?
I guess I'm old school.

+1 for the single kick set cockeyed. That irks me too.
I also have the double crowns and it dont bother me...I like to have the double crowns on my ns2a and single on my Euros.

OMG! Animal from the Muppets was........?!?Maybe that's a signal that the drummer is not quite straight....
I use a ruler that is metric one side, english on the other, things like pickup sizes are much easier to measure in metric I have found...
Anyways thanks for the input, I have a set of chrome Schaller M4's and a set of black Gotoh-style tuners, not sure if they actually are Gotoh. I suppose I'll try both and see which I prefer, as it sounds like both will fit... when I finally get it!
Now I just need to find knobs... any good recommendations for knobs to fit solid shaft pots that have an indicator dot on them? Almost bought these, but it doesn't say if they are push-on or have a set screw to work with solid shaft pots. (like the ones on the Haz copy)

Got Beast today.... already had Beauty. Beast is the Black Cherry Euro4. And brother it is a MONSTER! I can not believe how great the sound is! I did what Patrick said and turned the Tonepump to about 60%. I loved it at 100 and love it even more at 60.
Seriously, this thing is a MONSTER! I have it next to my Fodera Monarch Elite. Two great basses, two totally different sounds. For the Euro, can you say HEAVY!!! Lol.... I can not get over how great it sounds. It's a Big sounding bass and that is no mistake! Amazing. And I love the way I get around on it. It is like everything is big and blocky. No mistakes here putting a finger in the wrong place. Extremely, extremely fine instrument!
