I think so too. I know I don't have to worry about the fit, finish, or quality...all I need to worry about is the aesthitics, and I have just about never seen a green I didn't like, lol.

DelucaJon, the GC that has that White Euro 5 with Bart pups is in NJ...did you happen to check it out?
Damn...
I really can't afford another Spector right now, but that is one of the nicest basses I've ever seen (IMO of course). You're gonna love it.

Ha! Back in 1999 when the 5's went 35" scale with inlays I ordered one through the Musicians Friend store we had here in Vegas at the time (later turned Guitar Center). They had to order it. I ordered Blue Stain. My Euro 4 was originally going to be green, but the finish was backordered for several months. It was then going to be the normal blue stain, and somewhere between the order and the shipment, it must've been confused with the black/blue stain.

I was going to go look at it but it said it has Bartolini's in it so that kind of scared me away. Plus, it says it is a refinish so I really didn't want to drive an hour and a half to be disappointed.
Go north to at least Little Rock. There's a reason that North Louisiana is called LA (Lower Arkansas). Not much difference from here to there. Little Rock is tons of fun, and the River Market is a great hangout. Where are you looking at going? Fayetteville for school?
And to put this back in the Spector realm, are you still searching for a Bop 5er?
I wonder if that's actually factory paint though. The Spector website has Gloss White under the Special Order heading for finishes. I just wonder if GC saw that, threw in the word "custom" to make it more appealing to buyers. If someone wanted a white Euro, I don't why they wouldn't have just order white, instead of getting another finish and painting over it. My money is on the fact that that is probably factory.
The Barts don't appeal to me either, but based on other Euro 5s I've seen on GC, there's no markup on the bass just for those. Most all I've seen in good shape are priced at $999.
It's getting chilly......The Spector Varsity Jacket will be mine soon!!!
I may be odd man out.... But I can still get that "growl" with the bass boosted.
Spector basses seem to have that "growl" as part of the overall tone.
I tend to set my pbass pup at 95% and my jazz on full with a bass boost and about half the boost of the bass for the treble. My amp has the hi-mids and bass slightly boosted with the treb slightly cut

I've developed some T-Shirt ideas and am trying to decide if I just want to have a couple made for myself or if I want to talk to Stuart and PJ about including them in the SPECTOR Store.
What do you guys think? Would you wear something like this if it was made available?
