Thanks for the response! I've been a Spector lover forever and want to be an owner again. Right now, I'm just bargain shopping and hoping to get lucky. I got outbid on an old dot inlay Rebop at the last second (literally) and was pretty upset about it.

Was that a natural color one that ended this past Sunday? If so, the seller was in NJ and not too far from me but I saw the bids keep going up so I ended up buying the exact same model used from Guitar Center. Not trying to rub it in or anything but check the used gear on Guitar Center's site since sometimes you can catch some really good deals on there.

I know this has been covered before, but I agree that the TP is a great preamp. The TP with the output control is fantastic. A lot of folks jumped on the Tonedump bandwagon without giving it a chance. In my humble opinion the Haz pre does not sound $250.00 better.

Hey everyone... check out the November issue of Premier Guitar magazine for the full-page SPECTOR Guitar and SPECTOR Bass ad designed by yours truly.

It features the new Black Pearl color option (can be applied to any USA Spector Bass) and the WebCaster Electric Guitar... it also shows off the new SPECTOR Logos I created for Stuart and PJ to brand the Bass lines and Electric Guitar lines differently.

After BPL more changes are coming... leading up to NAMM. Where even MORE cool stuff with be unveiled... :-)

Recently stjohn1299 (Mark) took my offer and I sent him my video camera.
He recorded his My Spector Story and I completed the editing for him.

He has a great story of selling and buying his Spector back years later. (with some spiritual help from his Dad)

Remember any regular Spector Club members that would like to do the same, just PM me and I will arrange to send the camera to you, you send it back and I edit for you.
(You pay shipping costs both ways)

Great video Sam and Mark. I have a feeling I won't be able to avoid making one the next time I go over Sam's which is going to be very soon since my Rebop will arrive tomorrow :)

Just expect a very short video that won't be very exciting, LOL. Hi, I am John and I like Spector. That's all I have so far :D

I will have the camera on the tripod ready to shoot.

And I if you don't want to do it, one of your ReBop bridge saddles will suddenly disapear. :hiding:

You might as well start sending me songs/videos you want to put in your video. :p :D

Ya Sam is a great resource.... He always finds great deals and he has talked me off the ledge at least once, so I didn't make a bad decision due to GAS... Great guy even if he is from NY ;-) (I was born and raised in Boston )
