99' spector ns-2j usa bolt on series. #080
swamp ash body, dark stain. using marcus miller DR fat beams.
when i was at the guitar store looking for a new bass, back in 99', this arrived while i was playing a euro 5 string. i actually opened the box it was shipped in.

ive yet to find a bass that i like better, though im always tempted to pick up a fret-less.

btw: what number member am i?

I have one question, I want to buy a Spector in a price range 750$-850$, and I think that only Legend will be an option, is this bass really good? I want to use it in a Southern Rock/Metal band!

I would get a used one, as others have suggested. I recently picked up a Rebop 5 that was under 3 years old, with a nice flame maple top and upgraded pickups for $750. You should definitely be able to find a nice used Rebop in your price range, maybe a even a Euro LX or NS?CRFM.

There is nothing wrong with the Legend series, but if you have the money the Czech-made Spectors are a big step up in build quality and hardware. They are worth the extra money.

I don't suppose anyone would be trying to unload their Euro 4LX, would they :ninja:?

I have a 2008 Euro4 LX I'm trying to move. Matte TobaccoBurst finish (custom ordered from Spector)...MINTY!! I would like to get $1200 for it (shipped in the US w/ Spector HSC)..:hyper: Although I would consider a realistic best offer from a fellow Spector Club member.

Bought new from G.C. for $299 used. I fink its pretty sexy :smug: (if you go here, please ignore my various other random pictures, its MySpace... what do you expect) Oh, and I'm a nerd for giving support, so I will gladly advertise to any Spector owners I come across :ninja:
