Signed? nope, that would be nice. The guy at Guitar Center who was talking to me about it kept talking about Down and Rex, but I wasn't listening to a word he said... I was in love.

The only thing I don't love about this bass is the ergonomics.

When I play it standing up with a strap the neck sticks out in front of me, and it's a struggle to pull it back to where I can see the strings.

Sitting down is a little better, but how am I supposed to rock out if I'm sitting down?!

Aaah...it doesn't have the famous full curved body of the NS then. /: the first report I've heard on the Rex.

YES! Tomorrow my new NS-95 arrives! :D

Hey Phat...did you end up with that gorgeous blue stained Euro 5 LX?
Not yet, but it could cause a problem with the Wife since I just bought these:

The acoustic is getting flipped though.

Oh yeah! The gorgeous Burl Popular! :D
What make is the acoustic? Love the design! Never seen head tuners in that configuration before, 2x3.

Oh BTW I'm at home waiting to mug my postman! Found out that my NS-95 is out for DELIVERY!!! :D There will be pictures tonight!

I'd love to say "thanks", but that actually belonged to the guy from the Tool tribute we played with, but it is totally awesome!

I used my amp (have an Eden Navigator pre and a Carvin power) through that 8x10 though... sounded pretty fantastic.

That's cool! Atleast you had the chance to hear the greatest of bass cabinets! :D

Might I suggest small Bungee cord from belt to bass - it will keep it pulled in close...:D

The balance is actually better than my Rebop because the body is bigger. No neckdive at all, due to the moved bottom strap button. It's extremely comfortable to play, not as flat and wide as an Ibanez 6-string. The string spacing, which I don't know the measurements of, is very comfortable for both fingerstyle and slapping, in my opinion.

To be fair, I'm playing the Korean model, perhaps the American Rex has the curved body shape, though I kind of doubt it.

At least the neck dive doesn't bother me like it does some people.

oh, and Tracebass, where exactly would this unsightly bungee cord attach to the bass? How would I play in the nude? :p :bassist:
