Good point. I remember ther being a 90s NS4 w hums for sale here when I was getting my 85 and didn't have money for both but now i want that SSD! Haha. They never come up like you see for other brands who were around that time. Sucks!

Just finished recording some tracks with my TW/OBP-3-loaded NS5-H2... the sound is freakin' incredible. I agree about the volume-drop - it's really not usable at all on the fly. Fortunately, dual-humbuckers is awesome

For the red fans, there's a very very choice NS4CRFM @ BassNW for a very reasonable price.

Thanks guys. It's actually trans red with more subtle flaming in the body than most solid maple Spectors.

BTW, the red NS4CRFM at Bass Northwest is gone. I inquired about it Saturday and the told me it was sold.

I have always had the same issue with Spectors. That F note seems WAY out there and it strains my wrist as well...its weird...guess its all in the way it hangs on you and the height of strap, position, etc.

My Legend 4 Classic has a 35" scale and I play a lot of Fs with no wrist problems. But I'm 6'2" and have long arms...

Yeah I saw that... it's tempting, but I want something a tad different than the P/J setup I currently have.
Plus I've heard those Kramer-era models have some skinny necks! My mitts may have a hard time adjusting!

I just scored a wicked deal on a genuine Made in the USA gloss black Spector NS2 (built 30.29.1989 during the Kramer years). Somebody was asleep at the wheel when they priced this one!

I just have to wait for a month before it's in my hands.
