Spector Club Pt. 4 (Insert Clever Title Here)

Long story short, it was equipped with the smaller import bridge, but noticed there was a faint "ghost line" around the bridge where it looked like filler was under the ORIGINAL paint. Sure enough, when I got the us bridge put on, the luthier kept the wooden insert that was made to fill the larger US route to fit the smaller koran bridge route. I've posted pics somewhere. Just wish the guy wouldn't have ruined my haz lab pot :(

If you pull your HAZlab circuit out and send it to Henry at HAZ they will fix it for you. They are usually very quick. You might give them a call and ask for an estimate but my guess it would only be $50 - $75. I had them fix two circuits for me that were damaged and it was just a little over $100 total.

Thanks!! I'd emailed them before, but am afraid of my poor soldering skills...end up with a shorting out bass, which I guess is what I already have...

I am now working for Spector.

I just closed a deal with PJ and Stuart and will be providing them photography, cinematography, and graphic design services for marketing support.

My first big job is a complete website overhaul. Both PJ and Stuart are very hands-on; great to work with.

As soon as things are approved and can be posted, I'll let everyone here know first. The guys at Spector really do care about their customers and the members of this board represent a really great group of loyal customers.

Yes, their site has needed a revamp for some time. Plus their info on both previous models and current models is somewhat incomplete.

My only critique on that photo is too many and inconsistent shadows.
The first NS, on the far right, because of the overdone shadows, looks like an NS thats been shaved down. It doesn't have the full bodied NS look. I love the NS shape, but if I was new to Spector, that "perceived" shape wouldn't appeal to me.

Also, the shadows and light creases on all the upper horns/bass sides of the others are inconsistent. Some are heavily shadowed all the way to fully exposed. I assume this was probably a collage of many shots with obviously inconsistent lighting? The light crease on the second one from the right is actually reversed from the others.

I love Spector, but I am not a photographer (anyone who's seen my for sale ads could tell you that :p). This is just my "humble" opinion. ;)

Lovely collection though. My 4 year old daughter want's the pink one. :D

As long as you are critiquing JPS's work, I feel it only fair to point out that you are consistent in your misspelling of "inconsistent". Also, there is no apostrophe in "wants".

Don't ask for the website proofer's job. ;)

Not exactly on Stuart Spector's payroll for a national (international?) ad campaign either, am I?! :eyebrow:

Let's see here: Quick internet post as compared to national ad campaign....
Your analogy is kind of like apples to.......Boeing 757's. Nice. :rolleyes:

It wasn't meant to start flames. Just as I said: "my opinion".

I just know, if I'm Stuart Spector (and, of course, I'm not...just wanted to make sure you realized that) and it's representing my company on an international platform, I would want those issues addressed.

I finally fixed one of my regrets and picked up another NS2 JA-R! I have been looking at getting another one for a while, but could never find the "right deal" until this week while on a business trip in Nashville. I was minding my own business when I ran into this white one, and get this, someone retro'd a Hazlabs into it! I as able to do some price haggling and got a good trade on a Yamaha BB414 I had bought recently and I took it home for about $500 and change.

The bass is great, just like the black one before it, but I definitely like the Hazlabs sound so far with the EMG J's a VT Bass pedal and into a new GK MB210 combo.

The Hazlabs looks to be what this website: http://www.sfcj.net/en/e_data_Preamps.html is calling a "Woodstock 1999 " Does any one know what the trim pots on the board do? Any additional info on the Haz would be appreciated

Also one small thing, anyone know what strings have black ball ends and silver silk at the top? The black is colored like the D'addario sets black color.

Those are actually the back of your tone (bass/treble) pots. Some of the square ones look like that.

Boy that site is hard to read. I guess the Japanese to English translation isn't so hot.
