Spector Euro 4LX-TW Pickup Voicing

Hey Friends! I had a little time on my hands. So I did a new video. This one is about the different voices my Spector Euro 4LX-TW. It has 2 EMG TW pickups, each has its own Push/Pull Volume with Humbucker/Single coil action. EQ is the same on all settings, just the pickup balance and modes changes.

Personally, I love being able to dial in whats needed when needed, so even after this I cant choose which I like better. Usually tho, N + B Humbuckers is my go to. if that's too much, Ill pick the combination that fits the music better.

lol... That's what I prefer and vote too... I generally use both 2 jazz pickups on my basses, I generally put a bit more of the bridge pickup in the balance to give a little more bite in the mix when playing with the band...

When I play alone at home I like to experiment and vary and have fun with other balance settings... to smoother/change the tone...

I'm more of a P bass and Stingray guy but the neck + bridge single coil on your recordings sounded best to me. Would have liked to have heard each option in something other than slap. I hate slap, it's sooo overdone these days, not knocking your slap technique or sound, it's good if you like that kind of thing, just not my cup of tea.
I did tryout a Spector hollow body (Spectracore?) the other day and really liked the look, feel, sound and tonal options. Nice basses, maybe my next purchase.

Where do you get a bass with a 'bucker at the bridge and a single at the neck?

Oddly enough, I'm not a slapper, it's just easier to hear the differences with slap. You hear all the small things. Im gonna switch my strings and maybe do another vid like this. Finger and pick style. Those Spectorcores are amazing, the high end you get out of the piezo, OUTSTANDING! I highly recommend!

I need to look into these; that config sounds like a good one!

Lakeland pickups are both humbuckers. It may look like a jazz bass pickup in the front but it's actually a linear humbucker.
