As far as I am aware Sound Control (the UK distributors) don't have any yet......

To be honest Nick, you don't seem to know what you want. You have two great Spectors already. I would suggest you sell your Rockbass and something else and take a LONG time trying absolutely EVERYTHING out there before parting with ANY money....

Wellllll, I am being a little fickle and shallow. I have gone off the solid colouring of the Rebop, and find the shape(the sutle differences in spector's body shapes do make a big difference to me) a little boring. Also, if I try EVERYTHING, I'll fall in love with something way way out of my price range. I'm selling the yamaha and rockbaass and fender frontman to fund a hartke cab, then mebbe the rebop to get a legend. But it all depends.

Hmm, tis up to you Nick, but thats a wise choice regarding selling gear to fund your own wants. I respect that you're actually taking it upon yourself to be responsible for yourself.

Hmmmm, any pcis of this bubinga topped 6er? I could definetly use a beasty like that, as I'm interested in a 6 string for high end chordal works and just basically adding a new dimension to playing. If the action is nice and low, I should be able to handle the neck.

It might not be out of your price range if you were to combine the money you've already spent on six or seven basses that you only kinda sorta dig.

Seriously, don't think I'm trying to criticize. I just want to point out how it might be possible for you to afford something much better instead of wasting your time on decent mid-priced stuff.

Well nothing has really caught my eye, except a for a vampyre. I mean, I love the warwick Infinity.....I just dont think I can afford such an awesomely good bass.

So save up for the vamp. Trust me eventually you'll be kicking yourself after you go through multiple mid priced basses and you still havent found that one special bass that makes you moist in teh pants.

Well, the Legend on the site certainly did have a certain 'in your face' factor with that red wood. It looks classy as hell. I dunno, I'll try it, and try a vampyre ltd at the same time(among with lots of other un-affordable warwick ltd editions, hehe).

I'd just like to point out just how much sense was ladled onto this post. Go play everything out there you can get your hands on. Then save up for that 'special for you' bass. It's not like the Spector Legends are going to disappear, but that special one of a kind, "fits your hands like the luthier had copies of your hands in his shop and your favorite music playing in the shop while he was building your masterpiece" bass are almost impossible to come by.

Basically play all the basses you can get your hands on until you find the one you would sell your soul to have in your possession. Then figure out a way to take it home.
