I've been curious about this for a while now. What are the different Spector Models? It's very confusing to me. Can someone put them in some kind of order for me. I know there are USA, USA Bolt-on, Czech, Euro, Korean, etc. Thanks

What is it you want to know. The US series is the most expensive supposedly highest quality, the Euro model (Czech) is their mid and the "Professional" series (Legend, Performer, etc.) are the least expensive models.

What I was after was NS2 =? or the other models. I see them for sale or trade and don't know by the model number what type they are.
NS2 goes back even before Kramer days,but they still make it these days.

It's the U.S.A. 4string p/j model.
NS2A was the Asian made.(Spector pick ups,dot inlays,black hardware,plastic nut)
So pretty much it would be like....

There seems to be quite a bit of confusion about that especially on the used market. I've seen Korean NS-2A's being marketed as Euros with the price tag of a Euro as well. 
Most Euros look almost exactly like the US models("Crown" inlays, active EMG's, gold hardware and brass nut) except for the Rebops which are bolt-ons. Most of them are also stained and have a high gloss finish instead of solid color although I haven't seen many solid colors on newer Spectors anymore. Back in the Kramer days, you could get a white(Sting), red or black model as well as other stained colors. An almost dead giveaway of a US model is the abalone inlays instead of the mother of pearl.
The Legends have the gold or black hardware and are available with a set neck or bolt-on neck. The all have dot inlays as opposed to the Euro and US crown inlays.
There are some models during the SSD and newly acquired Spector era(early to mid 90's) that won't follow some of these guidelines. If you have a specific question about a particular model, don't hesitate to ask.

I was aware of the ranking as far as USA - Euro -etc. What I'm looking for is NS5CRFM = Euro or NS-2J-FM = USA or NS 2000 = ???.

If the model name has "CR" or "Euro" in its name, it's a Euro (Czech Republic), so a NS5CRFM is a Euro model. All ReBops are Euro models (more or less the cheaper equivalent to the US bolt-on series), and all Legends, Spectorcores and Performers are Korean models. Anything with a simple model name without too many added letters (NS-5, NS-2J etc) is a USA model.

And you're right i've seen some of that stuff you're talking about.
One small correction if I may. The there were three countries that made Kramer Spectors. Of course we have the US made NS-2s. Kramer then decided to build the inexpensive(but great playing and sounding) NS-2A, B, and C. The first 2A's were made in Japan before they moved operations to Korea. There were very few Japanese built Spectors. The only colors of the overseas models I've ever seen are red, black, white, cherry sunburst and teal stained. If there are other colors, I'd love to see them.
