At my day job I call 911 dispatch about 50 times per day. It irritates me to no end when some dispatched says "premise". Premise is not the singular of "premises". A premise is an idea, a premises is a location durn it. Many small town dispatchers get mad when you correct them on this grammatical error, but I just can't stop myself.
