Joking aside, I am in the same situation as you (altough my car is a bit bigger so I have more room) and found that an old Warwick 410 PRO and a GK mb200 was plenty last weekend when I played with a drummer again for the first time in almost a decade, but my guy might not be as loud as yours. You do need speaker area more than wattage, but the mb200 was surprisingly loud for something that would have fit in the side pocket of my jnco jeans in 97.

I actually have a Nissan Versa. I was saying When I was a manager people would should up with mini coopers and other small vehicles for a ridiculous amount of backline and gear so I'm really experienced in load small vehicles with a big equipment.
Its got plenty of room inside its how far the doors open and the distance between the body of the car and arm rests. Ill have to go measure to get a exact idea. Ive only had the car a few months and it didnt seem like that big of a opening but Illl look again.

Coming from a pro audio background this was my first thought and not against it I was just trying to get as tight of a package as possible. And no hatchback I think the Versa came in a hatchback which would be great but I have the regular sedan version so it would be going in the back door or trunk.

Toyota is on the list someday. My last car should of lasted another 5 - 10 years and I had put a bunch of money in to spruce it up to run it til it died as I owed nothing on it. But the last time I brought it in for something simple the mechanic spotted a broke engine mount and since I was getting it in top shape I said go ahead and replace it. After that it shook uncontrollably and he just told me nothings wrong and thats just how it will be. Ive taken it to the dealership and another mechanic without getting a answer and sunk a ton of money into trying to troubleshoot it all because I put so much money in it before the the first mechanic screwed it up leaving me without car. This all just before used car priced jumped up considerably so I was able to get my hands on a 09 Versa for less then 2k with only 55,000 miles so jumped on it to get me over but has turned into my main car as my other car is still getting looked at by another mechanic.
Have not had the ability to try one recently. Last time I was able to try one was in 2008 when I lived in Pittsburgh,PA and would go hang at Guitar Center. Didnt hate the tone maybe Ill look at those a bit more.
Well Ive read this over and over again and I get that a small light weight will eat most of the budget but I dont need crazy light weight, it would be nice but I really need it to fit in a door to get into the car. And Im not against a lead sled either Im just looking for the tightest package I could get which MB500 212 meets and comes within my budget. Im sure that would do fine a even a Rocket bass I dont need crazy pro level gear again to play every other month just seeing if there's other options that I might have missed and Im not really looking for cheap. I have a budget but can spend a bit more and Im a pretty good negotiator and wont be paying asking. I figure I could get used gear being listed totaling $1200 or a bit more used for what I looking to spend which opens the range a bit more. Cheap seems like it would be a new Fender Rumble .
Revised and clarified - I have a Nissan Versa and the most important thing is that it fits through the door or trunk. Im not totally against some weight it would just be nice not to have it be a boulder. Also I could do a lead sled as the most important thing is the cab fitting in the car I was just looking for a nice tight set up. Also Ill be negotiating so it wouldn't be 800 - 900 firm Im guessing I could get some used gear listed and totaling around $1200 or a bit more for my $800 -$900 making the range a bit wider.
Haha Id love to see his face if I gave him brushes to use as a solution, I dont think he would take it well I think he vents smashing his drums like the hulk. And you could fit a unbelieve amount of stuff in some late 90's JNCOs. Those pockets never end. I remember the daughter of my dads GF at the time walking around the house with a cat in one of those pockets.

I see. Well. I’ve rented a few cars over the years for out of town gigs hauling the cabs I mentioned. The following sedans: Jetta, Camry, Accord, Altima, Maxima, and Corolla, can accommodate those cabs in the back seat, as well as an 8 unit rack, my bass, gig bag, and clothes in the trunk.
I rented a Versa about 8 years ago. It was a hatch, and if I remember correctly, It was a hatchback, and I loaded it from the hatch door with the seat down. I had stuff on the passenger seat. It was pretty tight.
I got a sweet GKMB212ii here on TB classifieds for $600. Checks all your boxes and fits in the trunk of my 2006 Honda Civic.
Like I said once the gear is in the car there's plenty of room for a ridiculous sized bass rig its just getting pieces of gear that can fit through the openings of the vehicle. Back when I would have to throw backline in peoples car so many times there was space left and it would work but the gear wouldnt fit through the door or the opening of the trunk even if I took it out of the flight case and sent the gear without one.

The MB212 is a great amp. I've had mine for several years (got it for maybe $900 ish back then). It checks all your boxes if you can find a used one in your budget. 38 lbs, vertical 2x12 is a great configuration, it's loud, and the tone is great.
Any venue too big for it to function as the main bass amplification is likely going to have FOH support anyway, so the MB212 becomes a stage monitor.
Oh, I hear you about the door openings dimensions. My wife has a Volkswagen Beetle… I’ve also had Civics that were a problem in past years as well. With as all we cars it a battle with either the tire well on the dorm jam or the arm rest, or seat bolster.
I use an Ampeg RB210 in a rock band with a loud drummer.
