I just watched it, and I must say I was quite impressed.

Although, I do have one question...
Was that Alex Ross' art in the opening credits? Some of it looked a lot like his Kingdom Come work, and I could swear one of the Spidey shots was straight out of Marvels...

That was my **sniffle** favorite **sniffle** part of the movie. What a great ending.

Dunno, it wasn't "smooth" like Ross' work. Might have been, but I doubt it.

Even if you ignore that origin story, the way Joker is portrayed is stupid. The very fact that he dies undermines the whole relationship between him and Batman.

Cause letting him live to another sequel is a boring, trite idea overdone in hollywood a zillion times. But I definitely see where you're coming from though. IMO it makes for good comic books, but not in a movie.
