These new CVs won't have them. They have cheaper machine heads than the VM.Both CV and VM has nice and stable tuning mechine. But I prefer the nickel coat ,longer shaft and more accurate vintage shape elephant tuning peg on CV.

Have we heard if the VMs are coming back or not?I wonder if these will be the same quality as they're now being made in a different factory. Is it just rebranded Vintage Modified
I'll take a jazz in daphne blue please.
I wouldn't be surprised, they've got the contemporary line to maintain too. More variation in the CV and contemporary lines. Heard some so-so reviews, I've been itching to try one (contemporary that is)Considering these are priced $50 below the Chinese Classic Vibe line from prior years and a few dollars above the most recent Vintage Modifieds, and they have features and styling of both, I'm thinking they just consolidated the lines into one.
Is the Classic Vibe 70's pickup placement period correct? If so I would love to get one!
Is it just me, or do the '60s and '70s jazzes shown have the same pickup spacing?
Don't really think this Invalid Link Removed can be played as a bass guitar. The Classic Vibe is back baby!

The daphne blue one does, but to my eyes the other colors don't.
I need to try to track some down in the wild.
John Lennon didn’t have any problems using it as a bass...Don't really think this Invalid Link Removed can be played as a bass guitar.
Looks to me like the Daphne Blue is the only '60s that DOESN'T have the '60s spacing.
