Squier Classic Vibe 2019

Been check carefully on the image, the tuning mechine are different than mic CV bass. Also different than current VM bass tuning machine. It more look like Aliexpress stuff.

Skunk strip return. Both mic CV 60p and CV 60J has no skunk strip which great copy the Fender Pre CBS concept. I suspect this new Indonesia made CV bass are share some part from current VM bass.

Vintage style bridge are bonus on the new CV bass which you can direct install third party bridge without modified and redrill screw holes like MIC CV bass.

Thumb rest are gone.

Narrow Tall Fret wire !!!! Seriously ?!?! Been play Fender Am Pro bass, I really love the Narrow Tall Thin fret.

I believe Squier bass lover will happy If the chrome pickup and bridge cover are standard accessory on new CV bass.

Edit.
The vintage bridge just a copy piece, not Fender vintage bridge. First , the Saddle are not nickel, second, the intonation adjustment screws not equal length as original Fender vintage bridge. Maybe the saddle screw are different too, just too small hard to check.

Considering these are priced $50 below the Chinese Classic Vibe line from prior years and a few dollars above the most recent Vintage Modifieds, and they have features and styling of both, I'm thinking they just consolidated the lines into one.
I wouldn't be surprised, they've got the contemporary line to maintain too. More variation in the CV and contemporary lines. Heard some so-so reviews, I've been itching to try one (contemporary that is)
