Squier Classic Vibe 70s P bass ?

That is a cool looking bass. Though, in the description of that bass it just has a picture of a Squier sticker, lol.
I love it! I'm curious how it compares to the Matt Freeman bass. I do like the idea of blocks and no sig. But didn't the MF bass have "unique" pickups (to that model)?
Has anyone gotten to side-by-side the CV 70s with the Matt Freeman yet? They appear to be identical other than the blocks and different description of the pup. I've pretty much narrowed my p bass choices to one of these or a Fender MIM and would love to save $200
I played one of these the other day. WHOAH! Really nice. I hope one shows up on CL when I have some GAS money handy!
They are starting to make their way into stores it seems. Theres another thread on this somewhere. Good basses. Reminscient of Matt Freeman sig.
I got one for Christmas. It's awesome. I'm really, really impressed. The only possible mod I have in mind at the moment is a Babicz bridge.

DaddyFatBass32, it feels just right - the setup out of the box is perfect, so no adjustments required at all. Weightwise, it's heavier than my Affinity and VM Fretless P, and feels reassuringly solid. I've only played it through headphones at the moment (Rocksmith and playing along with YouTube via a mixer) but it is very good. When the Mrs goes out, I will give it a blast through the Marshall. Pics will be coming tomorrow - I've got a new arrival coming so I'll snap them both together.
If they wanted to do a true 70's P bass clone it would have to be natural finish, ash body/maple fingerboard and weigh 12 lbs. 
Looks like it even has the same bridge as the Matt Freeman. I'm not a huge fan of block inlays, but on the other hand, it avoids the headstock signature of a guy I hadn't heard of before the sig bass.
(However, as I already own a well made Freeman sig, I think I'll just put a vintage colored sticker over friend Freeman's signature and call it a day).

I really love it. I wasn't sure I'd be keen on the black inlays, but when it's being played, you don't notice them! The bridge cover may come off at some point though.
Behind it is my other new toy - a Stagg upright. I wish I'd bought one of these years ago and switched from violin to double bass at school. Oh well, at least I can pretend to be Sting now. Right - must dash, I've got a rainforest to save!
