Damn you....
But that reminds me of a question I keep forgetting to ask. Who the hell is Matt Freeman?

Thank you, thank you very much. I gig that bass extensively. I love it!
Do the CVp and the Matt freemand have the exact same vintage style frets? I know the freeman was supposed to be designed more toward his 70s p. anyone?

Anyone having issues with the CV bridge saddles rattling? Mine began when I put flats on. A string: I have searched and tightened everything including backing off the trussrod all the way to re-seat it and it won't stop. I noticed the saddle screws are flat on the bottom sitting in round grooves and that the saddles are very close to each other.... rattling?

Why to ignore the Ibanez? It is a nice bass ;-)
The strap buttons are both moved (look closely) and I suspect some fiddling was done to the electronics cause it's actually a little quieter than the sonic blue P. When I A/B'd my blue P against a Freeman at our local TB get-together recently, the Freeman was considerably hotter. This one is substantially quieter. Someone also put a pickup cover on it, which by itself would be cool, but they used these big ugly hex-screws that look really stupid. Ew. So I'm gonna take it all apart this weekend and asses the damage and what I wanna do with it. Hey I bought it mainly for the neck and the neck is 100% flawless.Well, I'm blaming this one on you. Just picked up a used Freeman from CL last night.

What upgrades has everyone done to their '51 P-bass?
