My CV's got some new bling.
Pickguard and bridge on the 70's.
Pickguard on the 60's.
It is some kind of gold.
I had a thumb rest on it for a bit that I painted gold. After several cans of gold spry paint, I was never actually able to get an exact match so I'm not sure what the color of the bass is.
I believe it was repainted before I bought it due never seeing another one like it.

mine is a parts bass! I had a 1st gen Classic Vibe 2019 70s Precision Bass neck that I attached onto the MAGNIFICIANT Walnut body.single piece body, can you believe it folks??? also 3.7 kg the bass... OMG!! Nato is a nice wood!!

I have my doubt. But nice rarities from Fender. Good thing the white blonde has Ash veneer on top and back of the body.

I cannot express enough how much I miss my Fiesta Red with Chromes. One of the best playing and sounding basses. Those p'ups + Chromes did something magical.
Both lovely bass recall my sweet memory again.....
3 different pickguard, mint green, vintage mint green and brown tort.
You should find another one. I can see how much you miss this bass.
Sold two vintage P basses recently and bought a CV 70s P bass.....I have no need to ever go vintage again. These CV's are exactly the same quality as a good late 70's Fender. I bought a new wine colured P bass in 78 and my CV feels exactly the same. Photo has a VM rosewood neck which I prefer to the mapel.
Actually I am enjoy on my current Cort GB74JJ.
If I able get a pbass again, maybe will focus on Fender Japan traditional P.
