Squier Deluxe Jazz Active 5

Hello TB!
I recently bought one of the new squier basses, and I want to replace the stock pickups with some bartolini's. The problem, the 57J1 L/S are too big, but the 59J1 are for a four string bass. Does anyone know the sizes of the pickups on the squier deluxe jazz? I've tried to find them, and I'm sure I just overlooked something, but I'd appreciate any help.
Another question, do the Seymour Duncans drop right into the place of the stock pickups?

The Squier Deluxe Active V uses a pickup that is the size of a four-string jazz pickup.

Look closely...if you don't believe it, then measure...

You can go two ways in a pickup upgrade...one is to put in a 4-string pickup...the second option (the one I would choose) is to have proper 5-string pickups professionally fitted. Yes, it will cost you an extra $100 or so, but worth it IMO.

By the way, those SD 5-string pickups sound SOOOO good on the MIK Fender 24 V

Hey thanks! I thought they were the size of the four string pickups, but I wasn't sure. Since I already have the 5 string Barts, I'll just have them professionally installed and pay the extra money for it. You know it's funny, my Squier is the same color as the one in the picture you posted, is it yours?

Thanks again for your help, I have an Ibanez BTB that I'm considering putting new pups in, I'm thinking something exotic too, but that's further down the line.

it's not my bass, photo is from the basscentre in melbourne. I've just been doing some research on them recently is all. (looking for a 5 string, currently).

I like the white one, it's nice
