Squier Deluxe Jazz Active V update and question

So I'm just recapping from my last post

http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=470301

and I wanted to say I just bought Nordstrand NJ5FS pickups.
They have not yet arrived but Steamcomusic is 100% positive they will fit in my bass and work amazingly. BUT my only question is what preamp would go best with these pickups and this bass. Squier Deluxe Jazz Active V Bass.

I want to use the existing control setup
Volume/Blend/Bass&Treble stacked (Treble on top)/mid and slap switch

I'm still trying to figure out what tone I want but I am looking towards a clear, smooth finger style sound as well as a deep growl (kinda like flea) Sound. I am pretty flexible and open to any ideas I get. Thanks.

Audere, would be a good fit for what you're after.

Personally, I'm going for a more "Sadowsky" vibe on mine with a 2-band boost-only and a passive treble roll-off.

I've put a Nordstrand preamp into mine and now it has all the bass sounds you may need for a lifetime...;-)
