Nope; JV Squier.
I think all of the JV line were recreations of vintage fenders. Mine; for example, has the reverse tuners and originally had the extra strap button on the back of the headstock. I think the PUP spacing is pre 70's spec too,...but don't quote me on that.

The bass is in Columbus, should arrive here tomorrow! Im pretty pumped!
And did I mention, the bass comes with:
Extra All parts neck.
Original neck, refretted (Missing the original logo.. Kinda bummer, but Im going to get a decal made to the same specs)
3 pickguards, two anodized and a white
full ashtrays

If mine's poly, it's the thinnest, most nitro like poly I've ever seen. It's even flaking and checking like nitro on the headstock.

Yeah I hear ya. I love me some P bass too, but I love the J bass neck better.
Honestly I had to look up what a Crackberry was. LOL I don't imbibe.
