Jeeze,,, i wish you guys would just leave your logos on your basses,, :rollno::rolleyes::rollno:

IT"S A FREAKIN SQUIER YALL.... who you tryin to fool, fool.... ( insert cheap line by Mr. T ) :rolleyes:

you ain't gonna change it into that magical fender by puttin a sticker on it.... ( & TBers get really pissed when, not if,, but when they show up on ebay as something they're not )

I gotta say, I bought my squier used, already had the decal replaced, and now I'd like to go back to the squier logo. I even thought about sanding the replacement logo off and getting a friend to paint 'A Freakin Squier' on it. Hell, I painted these huge white bars on the side of the neck where the dots are so I could see it under dark lights, so reselling it is really way down on my list.

Ok, rambling a little, if someone sees squier logos, let me know, didn't see one on the bay.

sorry, wasn't tryin' to stir up anything here. I sanded the logo mainly cause I didn't like the logo. My sx replacement necks are plain too (came that way) and the plain headstock looks cool to me. I thought about a logo, but not now. With this Squier, I rubbed Minwax satin Wipe on poly and wet sanded it, and it turned out nice. At least I did remove the Fender logo before I try to sale it.

lol,, & i thought i was the only one here to do the paint thing :)

When i first went from an EB0 copy to a long scale bass I put Gaffa Tape on the back of the neck where the markers were to help me on a dark stage. Good old Gaffa what aint it good for? The EB0 copy I used for my first bass gigs was an Avon. which was more embarrassing in the UK because it was, and is a door to door cosmetics company! and I still didnt remove it or cover it up....So sing if your glad to play Squier.....

My Squier VM purchased ~1 mo. ago. I've loved music forever and played guitar when I was younger and I when I decided to pick up another instrument I chose a bass. I figured I'd buy a Squier (price) and if I didn't end up continuing to play it wouldn't have been that bad of a loss.

Granted I am pretty much obsessed with the bass as an instrument and my bass. I originally bought a 5-string but I never really used the B-string and found myself muting it more than playing it, so I just did a direct swap for this 4-stringer

Hey, can I join this club? I've got a Squier Affinity P-Bass which I play in church, it's my first bass (but not my last). This May when Dubya sends me my money I'm going to GC and pick myself up a Squier VM Fretless Jazz Bass. I played one on my last trip to GC and I fell in love with it. Here's a pic of my P-Bass.

Somebody please give me a number!
