Squier TB bass neck!

anyone else here just find these necks to be reallyyyyyyyy sweet? i think ive found my favorite neck, and on a squier nontheless!

I really want to find just the neck, id like to put in on my Hoppus. I really wanna trick this Hoppus out. Its white w/ blk pg. Id really wanna put on the Squier neck (i just love the way it feels fer sure, and the tele headstock is sweet) and would want to add a J pup at the bridge, and throw on a pickup cover and try to get a BA3 or the new fender HMV bridge.

my fave neck is on my Squier II

My computer is lame and automatically clicked it for some reason.
but i was gunna say does anyone know where to find a neck? i keep looking on TB, CL and Ebay but havent seen anything.
i keep seeing other squier necks besides the one on the tele bass, does everyone just love them too or something? haha

wanna trade? LOL

no, but seriously...

Darkstrike- aren't you the guy who relic'd your VM? is there a way to get some of the gloss off evenly, or would it require a complete re-fin? I'm not that invested in this bass yet, so I don't want to put too much into it.

I'm not, you're thinking of Dark Horse.

But, you could knock the shine off, without breaking down to wood, with some smooth sandpaper, surley?

thanks, but im going to pass. im looking specifically for a fretted Squier VM TB neck or a CV 50's p bass neck for this project. if you ever get one, you know who to come to! haha

these necks are hard to find cause theyre new-er and a lot of people like em.
ill keep searching!

A green Scotch Brite pad did a great job on both my '50s and '60's P Basses.

Did it take any of the finish off or just the 'shine'?

Right, well my only concern with sandpaper is that the sanding direction will be visible between the frets, but would probably work great to take the finish down a bit for the back of the neck and headstock.
