Paypal stole over four hundred dollars from me, and I absolutely refuse to use them for *anything*. I'll send you a PM if I find a dealer here locally, though, and we can work something out.
Paypal passes themselves off as an 'internet bank', but they aren't governed by any of the rules and laws that are on the books to keep real banks from ripping people off, and they *do* rip people off *all* the time. I used my paypal debit card on a trip from Florida to Ohio, and about halfway through the trip, Paypal flagged my card and froze my account, leaving me stranded in northern Georgia with no money (all of my money was on my Paypal debit card (the bank account it was tied to was my wifes, and she had the only card associated with it)). Several calls to paypal while I was stranded proved useless. Once I made it home, I fired off some emails and made some calls, and resulted in the *actual*bank*account* associated with my paypal account being frozen for almost 4 months... There was little over $4,000 in that account, and we ended up missing mortgage and utility payments... Not to mention our account could take direct deposits from our jobs, but once the money was deposited into our locked account, we could not withdraw it. Paypal finally released the hold on our bank account after we threatened them with a pretty hefty lawsuit, but they *never* released the $400+ I had in my paypal account to me, and they *never* reopened my account -- all because I used my card in two states over a 4 hour period (which isn't hard when you're TRAVELLING).
In short, to hell with Paypal. Never has a more crooked company existed on the internet.
