thanks! it really sounds awesome, still has that P punch but with the added brightness and growl of the jazz. The electronics are just temporary (2 pups wired to the standard electronics) but it is soon to have a 3 way switch. I will try and record a video tomorrow when my camera has charged. :)

Got my Squier VM fretless today.

Very well built. No complaint at all.

Tuners, bridge and electronics are really bad. Planning to upgrade (part are on shipping now) with fender american deluxe bridge, hibshot hb7 tuners, cts pots, bartolini 9cbjd1 pickups and schaller strap locks. I'll put TI flats on after upgrade.

Probably stock pickups aren't too bad, but I like barts :) I'll use my Sadowsky outboard preamp with Squier.

Just bought a Squier VM Fretless Jazz today. I love everything about it. It has good intonation, bridge saddles and string height setup are surprisingly good. The pickups are both powerful and noiseless. I would have never expected anything like this. As a bonus, the usual cheap bridge has been replaced by a gold 60's Classic Vibe bridge which is a very sturdy hunk of metal.

I guess that the Indonesian dude that built my bass:
1) got up some morning
2) had a good night sleep
3) had a nice breakfast (i.e. steak & eggs)
4) showed up for work at the factory whistling his favorite tune
5) had a good day at the office

My personal impression of Indonesian people is soaring! :hyper:

Nice to hear it.

I feel the same way about my VM P bass.

I just can't get over it,

Cool, I'm really happy with mine too. Lets see a pic of yours with that bridge.
