SR650 no sound when EQ switched off

Hi,

I got an Ibanez sr650 and I'm noticing that I don't get any sound when the EQ is switched off. I don't know much about active basses, but from what I understand the bass is in passive mode with the EQ off? My amp doesn't have any passive or active switches and I also use Pod Farm which to my knowledge doesn't have anything to adjust between the two. I've tried replacing the battery with no luck.

Is there something messed up internally or am I just missing something?

Yeah so that switch is just an active/passive switch. So when you flip to passive it bypasses the preamp and the treble pot turns into a passive tone control.

If you are getting *no* output when you're in passive mode, something might be wrong. Are the pickups stock? Were they changed out for active pickups (instead of the stock passive pickups)?

Everything is completely stock. I got it early last week.
