Stack a GK Neo 4x10 (with wheels) on a 1 x15

Yeah, and Hartke and a few others. I remember when people were using the Hartke 410 with the 115 stacks and there were lots of people with blown 115 cabs. Either the 115 had a bad 15 or they were pushing it too hard trying to get lows to equal the volume they were getting from the 410.

The casters on my 410 were removable.
If yours aren't, just put the 115 on top.

The 115 will be fine for smaller gigs, as long as you have input/boost/woofer volume set accordingly.

There is nothing wrong with using a 410/115 if you like it, and you're aware that the 115 is rated for less power than the 410.
In the case of the GK Neo115, it's rated for 400watts, or, about 1/2 of the 1001's output, which, again, is fine, as long as you're aware of that.

I'd also put the 115 on top so you can hear it approach it's limits, if you're pushing it that hard.

I do more or less this same thing all the time only with a "smaller version," using the Neo 212 under, and the Neo112 on top. It works great.

Does anybody know if it is possible to stack a GK Neo 4x10 with wheels on top of a GK Neo 1x15?

I already have the 4x10 and would like to add a 1x15, but want to make sure if it will work. I know the cabs have the same footprint, just not sure how the wheels will play into the mix.

I run a HA5000 bi-amped head, with a 4.5XL and 115XL. I'm not an engineer, but with the bi-amped feature, crossover, and contour abilities, I have no issues. I also really notice a difference in tone....which is why I added the 115. Maybe in the future the 115 will sacrifice itself to the "Don't Mix Your Cabs" God....but till then

I have seen a few people who use stacked cabs with casters just lay the cabinets on their side with the casters sticking out.

While I've done this, IME, the casters vibrate incessantly, which I find irritating.
So, I remove them.
