stack jazz bass controls + series/parallel switch

I'm planning on finally modding my jazz. In addition to a set of nordstrand nj4s, I'd like to do a 60s stacked jazz control set up. But I also want to have a series/parallel switch. Is this even possible? I'd figure if there's a dpdt switch between the controls and the output jack then all I have to do is figure out the wiring. I have experience with soldering but not with setting up wiring diagrams, just following them. Has anyone ever attempted this? Does having a resistor in the circuit(like the original jazz basses had) so that there's less cross-talk between the pickups make this impossible? If i could pull it off, then I would have my dream set up.

It's doable. You could push pull the tone knob

I don't think that's possible since the vol controls are stacked on top of the tone controls.

Yes it's possible. You *should* be able to fit a miniature DPDT toggle switch between the stacked pot and output jack, but it will be a tight fit. Remember than in series mode you can't control the individual pickup volumes, the neck volume (and presumably the tone control too) becomes a 'master volume'. Series/parallel switch wiring here:

I know I'll have to use a dpdt switch, I just need to know how to wire it. I can find wiring diagrams for a switch when using conventional jazz bass controls. But, I've never seen one for the vintage stacked controls.

Refer to the link in my previous post...the 'hot' from the neck pickup goes to the center terminal on the neck volume pot. The other hot wire from the DPDT switch goes to the center terminal on the bridge pickup volume pot.
