Stack knob or 3 knob VVT?

On a three knob set up, I also like a master volume, pan/balance, and master tone.

This is what I plan to use on a MIM Jazz I recently bought. It's has a fretless neck that I'm swapping out for a new Allparts P neck(maple).

Both are great, but on my jazz I use telecaster knobs which looks very similar to the stack knobs. Jaco style!

It especially looks good on mine which is black and maple with black pickguard! mmmmmm!

Since we're all concerned about how knobs look, I don't think either configuration you're talking about looks best...I think MY knobs look best Made these for my fretless MIM with a parchment pickgard and ashtray cover upgrade to complete the look. She's my "cream and chrome"....whaddayall think?

I was told a blend didn't work well on a passive bass. I had a reputable tech put a concentric pot in mine and he said when both pickups were engaged there was a cut in volume. He put a three way mini toggle in instead. I'd really rather have the blend.

I don't know about the techy stuff there, but I have 2 passive Jazz basses set up with Volume/Blend/Tone and they kick serious bootay.

I've been told there is always a little drop in output when both pickups are full on and that it's a natural thing with Jazz basses.

I use my volume knob quite a bit to change my level, fade in, fade out...2 of them is just unworkable to me.

Can anyone point me to a wiring diagram for Vol/Blend/Tone?
