Fascinating how this thread has evolved somewhat from corny stage dances to the sheer underappreciated And often underutilized chops of some of thE early rockers. Gotta love it.

Certainly cringe worthy and a testament to the "White men can't Jump or Dance"
I'll take any '60's Motown-Stax-Philly dance moves any day over this.

I did the Freddie and a few other cringe worthy dance moves in my youth like "The Jerk"
which was not too cringey, the "Twist" and the "Mash Potato"
Getting back to the OP's video of The Lords Poor Boy, I didn't notice it until around the 1:55 minute mark as I was too
spellbound by the Poor Boys dancing, but I had never seen a mirror above a drummer angled so
you could clearly see him playing his full kit and with fairly decent chops.
Also isn't a Poor Boy a sandwich? What's up with that? gives a whole new meaning to the band name.

These Limeys can strut their stuff, and the gold boots were the icing on the cake. Washington was an American Air Force guy stationed in the UK, and decided to stay when he got out circa 1965 as there was a great demand for a real deal soul singer. A huge act in the British club circuit, he was a hit with the Mods, and early in their careers, The Who and Pink Floyd would open for him. He dropped out of show biz in the 70’s, but is currently back at it(in HIS 70’s).

I always enjoy watching YouTube videos of Steve Moore (from "Drummer at the Wrong Gig" fame) playing drums - I played with a guy back in the early 1980's that did that weird trick where it looks like he's playing backwards, but he was restrained compared to Steve. Steve's a helluva good drummer as well, need to find a wacky bassist to pair up with him, and they'd be an all-star rhythm section.
