I am looking at a Stagg 4 string bass that's a MM Stingray knock-off. The oval inset logo on the headstock is missing. Anyone know if it's possible to find a replacement logo? It looks like brass but I'm sure it's plastic.
Agreed, it makes no difference that it doesn't say Stagg on it. Chances are that bass come out of its factory brand in multiple ways. Even though they're a budget brand I've seen Stagg instruments that play well. If the one you're looking at is decent (& cheap) grab it and don't worry about a logo (or as @Bryan R. Tyler suggests make your own). This is the proper forum. Staggs are extremely low budget basses- the lack of a logo insert won't change the value any if that's what you're concerned about. You could make your own.
Like this, right? The problem is it's not a decal. It's an inset about 1/8" into the headstock. A decal wouldn't cover the indention. It's more like a button or badge.

Thanks, I will try that.@heave1
You could contact Stagg direct. TBH I doubt they will have spares, most times their products will ship straight from factories to distributors. No harm in asking though![]()
