Unless you're a Pens fan! Ugh. I can tell you one thing for sure - it's better (ie- less nerve-wracking, anxious, etc) playing in those games than watching them. At least for me...

seriously though, I think alot of people in Chicago are amazed at the result of that last series but, of course, absolutely thrilled at the outcome. Both teams battled well. For the Hawks, this is all gravy cause they weren't expected to get out of the Calgary series with a win.
I dunno. I think most people saw them getting past Calgary just because of the success they had against them in the regular season. Vancouver was a bit of a suprise. I wasn't so much suprised by Chicago's play, but by Vancouver's . . . what kind of system to they play? Is it a 1-2-2 defensive thing, or a wide open shoot out thing, or a combo of both? Thank God the twins didn't play up to their potential. It was a crazy series.
yeah, but the playoffs are a different animal. I think because of their age and inexperience they weren't given enough respect. Vancouver actually took them out of their game for awhile but they adjusted nicely. It sure was exciting to watch.

That was a meltdown of major proportions! I honestly thought that Washington had a good shot at winning that game - of course, I thought that the Canucks could beat Chicago too...
