Hated character, but LOVED actress! She owned that film, and I've seen it so many times!
Yes, Kai Winn is one to hate. She tries to come off as righteous, but always seems to have other motives. Louise Fletcher, great actress.

In my opinion, some of the very best Star Trek came out of the later seasons of DS9.

Kira used to annoy me but in my recent viewings of DS9, she's grown on me. So sassy.
I wish Michelle Forbes would have taken the role. It was offered, but she didn't want to be on a series.
Yah. Just like Denise Crosby. They didn't wanna commit to TV in case their movie careers took off. Didn't really work out that way.
