Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (DS9)

I also liked Quark. Always good for a laugh.
I am currently wearing this shirt.

I disliked DS9 when it aired, because it seemed like a space soap opera. Today I love it, & Orville is starting to smell like DS9.
My first reaction was "it wishes". But nah, The Orville has no wish to be anything like DS9 from the looks of it.

Some Quark moments I remembered were his commentary on the Federation (apart from his famous "root beer" chat with Garak):

Tried with this one but in the end was bored to tears with it.
Does "in the end" mean you watched all of it?

DS9 is my favourite series although I originally struggled through series 1. I’m liking series 1 now though.

Then Next Gen, Enterprise and now enjoying Discovery (not yet a favourite).

I was too young to see TOS first time around and have only seen bits and bobs of it in reruns over the years. Plus the movies. So I haven’t rated it. But yeah, I like it.

DS9 was goofy as hell. The dumbest, worst-acted, lamest stick on ears/foreheads aliens sci fi show of all time. It was like a soap opera without good looking people, only slower. So painfully predictable, and SOOOOO slooooooooooooooooow. Oh look a ferhengi is a con man! Oh look the new alien onboard is causing an issue/doesn't get along! It ended a life of watching star trek stuff, although I did go back and watch NG long after it wrapped. Flame away, it won't change the fact it stunk.
