Star Trek

I'm a fan of all Star Trek series' with the notable exception of DS9. I was never able to get into it. I've seen a few episodes on Spike TV recently, but I'm still not hooked.

Voyager on DVD, though? :hyper:

No, no. The one when the Hirogen have taken over Voyager, and they're doing those holodeck recreations of historic wars in human culture. More specifically, during the WWII simulation, where the crew takes on various characters of the allied forces, and 7of9 is the singer in that club.

That is probably the only holodeck episode I ever liked.

I also loved the Fair Haven episodes (the holodeck recreation of an Irish village.) In fact, the only Voyager holodeck episodes I did not like were the ones associated with "The Adventures of Captain Proton" / "Bride of Chaotica", etc. (Tom's black and white sci-fi adventures.)

Do you have a good sense of humor? Most women I speak with are looking for someone who makes them laugh and can carry on a decent conversation. Most other things seem to be secondary.

Not to get your hopes up or anything! :)

Star Trek II (The Wrath of Khan), Star Trek IV (The Voyage Home), Star Trek VI (The Undiscovered Country), Star Trek VIII (First Contact), and Star Trek X (Nemesis) are all good. The others are certainly worth watching if you are a Trek fan, but 2,4,6,8, and 10 are the standouts :D

ST:II = The Wrath of Khan. This is the only ST movie I call by its real name.

ST:IV = The Quest For Greenpeace (save the whales!)
ST:VI I forgot what this one was about :(
ST:VIII = Last Contract (for the original crew)
ST:X = It's dead, Jim.

All the EVEN numbered ones, huh?

Watched some of First Contact again on HBO yesterday...better than I remembered. Right behind Wrath Of Khan in my book.
I still haven't seen Insurrection(?) or Nemesis.

...guess I'm not much the Nerd-Geek as I thought.
