I purchased the bootlegger about a month or so ago. It really is a high quality item. I love the removable bar feature.
Overall Impression: It didn't shift my guitar anymore to the right than simply mounting the rear button midway on the back of the body (what I had done previously). Sadly (after drilling the bootlegger holes in my XT-2) it went back.
Mid mounting the rear button (as long as you don't have a big belly) is just the most eloquent solution imo. For larger guys, the bootlegger is probably the way to go.
