Calling Rick-O-Sound stereo is like calling your television 3D because you see it with both eyes.
I guess the stereo term is used loosely when referring to ROS/Ricks. I certainly have a habit of using it.

I can't be part of the mixing cab police because that department is full. So I found employement in the office of splitting hairs and adhering to strict definitions.I guess the stereo term is used loosely when referring to ROS/Ricks. I certainly have a habit of using it.
This may be the only real answer. I use TRS cables because I sometimes split pickups (on guitars not bass) and all my active basses are powered from the amp by a TRS cable. The best cables are the rubber covered ones. There is often a problem with these cables being noisy and microphonic especially if you walk on them, bump them, etc.

Amp is usually two amps and two cabs stacked vertically so you split them horizontally.
? I understand vertical stacking, that's what I'm doing. I don't get the split them horizontally.
It's early, and I didn't get much sleep.
