Sterling Ray 35 setup issue...

I just picked up this second hand Ray 35and it's beautiful. However! To get the thing playable I have to absolutely max out the height on the bridge saddles or else I get wicked string buzz in the B string from the 5th to 7th frets. I also noticed a very slight ski jump on the top fret. I am thinking the neck must be shimmed. I am fearing there might be a slight warp in the neck. Or best case senerio maybe a high fret.
