Stolen!! my first and second guitar build

Some very good news tonight, one of the guitars that was stolen has been recovered. I was searching Kijiji the other night and recognised the guitar (its a little hard not to when you spend so long building it) the police went and recovered the guitar today, and its now been returned to me. This was my first guitar build, it has plenty of flaws, but its worth much more to me than just the material costs. With a bit of luck the police will get the toe rag that stole this one maybe my other guitar is still there as well.

Well that is some really good news. Its a rare case to actually get one back.

Very good news. I'm really glad to hear it! Hopefully there will be some justice. They're just lucky that I'm not in charge...

Monetary wise she isn't worth much, the bloke was trying to flog her for $250, she has flaws, and a few worm holes, and yes this guitar tells a story. to me she is priceless, I will never part with her.

Maybe you can add your story to the comments. ;-) I still wonder how they describe it as Strat family, with your dual humbuckers and rear-access for the electronics, which plead "Gibson"...

Thanks Jcorneli I hadn't noticed that website, I will post the story on there but not until the Thief is brought to justice as I don't want to tip him off, I think I am pretty safe posting it in here as he is unlikely to be a subscriber to this Forum.

Well the guitar is home and there is some minor damage that needs to be taken care of, whilst I am doing this I was contemplating remodeling this build before it was stolen, now I am convinced that now I know a little more about building these things, I could make this guitar better.
After I finish my current 2 bass builds I will start to remodel this Guitar, The guy in the post is right the horns do need trimming somewhat, if nothing more than to shed a little weight. The fret board needs some attention, infact I am contemplating building a new neck for this guitar. So the story for this Guitar is far from over.
