Stolen!! my first and second guitar build

Guys and Girls I know this is a very long shot, but I want the community to know, and I know some of you live in Nova Scotia, so you may be able to keep your eyes open.

My home was burgled today!
Aside from the obvious stuff TVs, PCs, Jewelry, Cameras, they made off with 2 guitars. Actually my first build and my second kit build. The guitar in the picture on the far right is my first build, it was made from a tree in my front yard, it is more sentimental value than monetary value, it has my signature on the headstock "Andy Pearce". It is solid maple and very heavy. Its not a great build but it was my first. The other guitar stolen was the one on the far left, it was a kit build, its a 12 string Les Paul style, again not worth more than $400 but it meant a lot to me. if anyone should happen to see these advertised for sale please let me know. They left behind my squire strat, my Aria Acoustic, my half finished bass and my other 1/3 finished bass.

Your stolen guitars are of no value so they have likely been ditched already somewhere in the North End or Dartmouth. Put a 'stolen' ad on Kijiji and check the dumpsters in the hotspots. Good luck!

im from Dartmouth. many times the pawn shops get them. check the sceezy ones first. there is one near The Olands refinery. they usually store them for a month then bring them out. Look arfirst.ound then call the cops and have them confront them

Sorry to hear about your loss. I've had things stolen too, and it's infuriating. Hope they catch the perp(s), and hope he/she/they resist arrest and are shown the true path to enlightenment, just for old time's sake.

Dude that sucks... I'm on craigslist in Ontario all the time so I will keep my eyes peeled here just in case they make it out of the province. I haven't really ever gotten over when my first bass got stolen in 1980. It was only an Aria Jazz bass clone but I worked really hard at McDonalds for $2.60 an hour to save up for it. It was a great bass and I started my life long love affair with the Jazz. Still gets my Irish going when I think about it!

Sorry to hear that- having people take something you worked hard on is sucky. People that do this crap have no value to society at all and should be made history.

sorry to hear that you have also had a break in. I think the thing that makes me the most mad is that it was my first build, it is far from perfect but I was extremely proud of the fact that I took a piece of tree, and turned it into a guitar that played quite well with just a jigsaw, rotary sander and a borrowed router. Now its gone.

Maybe the guy got your guitar, and was so blown away with how awesome it was that they turned away from their life of crime?
