Interesting. I have a handful of their fuzzes. But, I’d need a video to entertain this and I see none unfortunately online.

I agree. I like all of their stuff, but they do tend to focus on recreating the past over innovating, and bass OD is something that I feel has had a lot of developments in the past decade or so. So, I'd like to see what this is all about. I'm feeling like it's maybe fulltone bass driveish... but who knows?
I feel like Origin set the standard with the Bassrigs. Hard to top.
speaking of Fulltone…the very first OCD, the 1.1 is great on bass. The future versions all lost low end.

In any sense... while he does seem to recreate the past, he's no dummy with his pedals and the old muff market is it's own thing and he's catering to that-- so I'm curious to see what this sounds like and if it's different enough to buy.

Sounds exactly the same in all three settings. Terrible demo.

I'm listening with headphones... sounds pretty different in all three to me. It's not an in-your-face fuzz.
Did you watch all of each three clips or just the start of each? He starts in bypass in each video then engages the pedal halfway through. None of the driven clips sound the same at all.

I like SUF in general and have bought a handful of limited editions from him including some one-off pedals. I have been considering this. But as stated above the demos I have heard aren’t great. Waiting to hear some feedback.

Twin Town guitars let me know that they will be working on some better demos of the pedal.
I would like to share with you an e-mail I received from a customer on the Disruptor which may give you a better idea of the pedal.
"When the disruptor arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn’t some super crazy distortion or fuzz pedal. After plugging it in to one of my HIWATT’s, I found out what it can do!
I love how subtle it is!
I also tried it out with my orange ob1-300 combo amp which is solid state and it sounds just as good. I find that I generally keep the tone around noon, the drive a hair past noon, the blend anywhere between 9:00 and 12:00 and the level around 2:00.
I don’t know what you were thinking when trying to design this pedal because most guys would have made something over the top and obnoxious but you had a more reserved approach and really nailed it in my opinion.
I like how it acts as a sweetener… making my amp sound cleaner and clearer, but with a bite if I want it to.
Still punchy and no loss of low end that I could hear…
So… thank you for taking the time to read this. I’m really happy about this pedal and the fact that it was well thought out. Coming from a guy that makes some serious fuzz machines, I was kinda blown away that this pedal feels like opening a vintage bottle of wine and enjoying the subtle notes of the flavors. Well done, Matt! This thing is great for bass."
As soon as Twin Town releases the new demo I will post it online.

Bass Channel and Bass The World are probably the big ones, but I also like Hondo Felder and Jonny Dibble for some smaller channels.

That's the disadvantage of instagram vids. No ability to fast forward. I listened again. Sounds like ass IMO.

I thought it sounded pretty good with headphones on. Def would need to hear it in person, though. I have a scorpion on order, so that's satisfying my GAS for now.
